Our Team

Mel Arnold, Director

The driving force behind Women’s Business Club, bringing together ambitious women who believe business grows faster through connection, collaboration and shared opportunity.

With a background in building communities, partnerships and purpose-led brands, Mel is passionate about creating spaces where women don’t just network, they build real relationships, gain access to the right people and move their businesses forward.

Known for her straight-talking approach and natural ability to connect dots, Mel champions the idea that success isn’t about doing it alone. Through Women’s Business Club, she is reshaping how women support each other in business and is determined to give the younger generation a network to grow in.

David B Horne, Director

A long-standing supporter of Women’s Business Club since 2022, David is also co-founder of Book Magic AI, winner of Best AI Entrepreneur at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2025, and was named Man of the Year at the Women’s Business Club Awards 2025.

He is the Amazon #1 bestselling author of Add Then Multiply and Funded Female Founders, and Founder of Funding Focus, a social enterprise championing fairer access to capital.

David is also an award-winning entrepreneur and Founder of Add Then Multiply, working with ambitious founders to achieve rapid, sustainable growth. A former PwC-trained Chartered Accountant and CFO of two AIM-listed companies, David has raised over £120m in funding and completed more than 30 company acquisitions and exits.

Nicola Marshman, Director

Nicola joined Women’s Business Club in 2021 after looking for support when setting up her own business.

The challenges starting a business tend to hit women differently and it was something that really stood out for Nicola. She ran the coffee and coworking events in Cambridge for the club, something she is looking to bring back. Nicola is passionate about helping others and also elevating the club under new management to bring more support, more exposure and more connections in the future.

Nicola enjoys giving back to the business and local community and do so as a mentor on the UK government backed Help to Grow programme, as a shareholder and Director of the Women's Business Club and as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Cambridge Pringle Group.

Sabrina Kaur Kumar,

Non-Executive Director

Sabrina has been a proud member of the Women’s Business Club since 2017, a community that played a pivotal role in her entrepreneurial journey and she continues to champion women’s success globally. In 2025, Sabrina was honoured to be selected as a Finalist for the Inspirational Woman of the Year Award, as well as shortlisted for Women in Law, recognising not only professional achievement, but resilience, advocacy and impact.

Sabrina began her entrepreneurial journey as the Founder and CEO of Amaryllis Associates, an FCA-regulated legal and financial claims firm. Now Sabrina serves as Head of Contracts, Compliance & Data Protection Officer within a HealthTech digital services company delivering SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS solutions to NHS Trusts nationwide.

Sabrina's work today, and her ambition for the future, is grounded in purpose-led leadership: building ethical systems, supporting public services, and opening doors for others as she continues to grow, evolve and lead.

Catherine, Non-Executive Director

Catherine is a multi-award-winning entrepreneur, professional property investor, and highly respected business consultant, mentor, and international speaker. With decades of experience, she has helped clients in the UK and around the world to start, fund, and scale successful businesses, guiding them with clear, focused strategies that deliver measurable results.

During the Covid pandemic, Catherine made a purposeful decision to pivot her work towards supporting women in business, recognising the disproportionate challenges many were facing. Since then, she has remained firmly committed to helping women start, invest in, and grow businesses that enable genuine financial independence — something she has achieved herself and now helps others to do with confidence and clarity. To further this mission, Catherine is a shareholder and Non-Executive Director of the company that owns Women’s Business Club (WBC).

In 2023, she also founded the Coffee & Coworking communities in Truro, Cornwall and Exeter, which have grown into trusted, supportive networks for women in business — and which she continues to lead today.

Rhonda Fairweather,

Non-Executive Director

Rhonda is a global operations leader, executive coach, and advocate for inclusive, human-centred leadership. As Senior Vice President of Operations at a global organisation of over 10,000 employees across 18 countries, she leads large, multi-region teams through transformation, integration, and growth.

She is passionate about leadership development and coaching, particularly supporting women to build confidence, visibility, and impact. A warm and authentic speaker, she believes sustainable success is achieved when people feel seen, supported, and empowered to do their best work.

Rhonda brings deep experience in scaling operations, navigating acquisitions, and driving performance while maintaining strong employee engagement and trust. Alongside her executive role, she is passionate about leadership development and coaching, particularly supporting women to build confidence, visibility, and impact. A warm and authentic speaker, she believes sustainable success is achieved when people feel seen, supported, and empowered to do their best work.

Samara Spence, Corporate Sales Executive

Samara is an experienced sales strategist and personal growth coach for women who want MORE from their business - without feeling they’re sacrificing what’s important.

Jamie Jimiera, Social Media Assistant

Jamie has been a social media manager for many years with a passion for creating content and cultivating her skills in engaging with people.

Jamie's career started out as a hotelier in a hotel chain and right after the pandemic, decided to harness her skills in content creation and graphic design.

Bianca Best, Ask Bianca 

Bianca is a woman of impact! She is a 2 x best-selling author, award-winning C-suite exec (WPP & Publicis Groupe), techpreneur, charity ambassador, energy consultant, founder of The Better Business, host of The Big impact Show™ and solo parenting mother of 4 who deeply understands how to thrive during both business and personal pressures.

Bianca’s mission is to inspire success with grace, by proving and teaching that joy doesn’t require self-sacrifice, and energy mastery is the magic we all hold.

Tina Key, Website Designer

Tina is a creative and technical web design and branding specialist based in the UK, and the owner of SPRK Design. She works with start-ups, sole traders and small to medium-sized businesses.

Tina excels at turning ideas into cohesive brands and websites that look professional, feel authentic and are technically robust.

Our History 

Founded in 2012, Women’s Business Club began as a small gathering of entrepreneurial women seeking support, inspiration and meaningful connections. Over the years, it has grown into a thriving network of ambitious female leaders, offering structured opportunities for collaboration, mentorship and business development.

From humble beginnings, the Club has consistently focused on breaking down barriers, creating access, and empowering women to achieve their professional goals.
