Hope, Always

I predominantly work with women who have a tendency to let themselves fall to the back of the queue. As well as self-compassion, I believe that we should have hope, always – and I’m spreading this message through my coaching, podcast (My Hormones My Health), and now, tee shirts!

I’m Laura Teare-Jones, and I have PMDD – premenstrual dysphoric disorder. I was diagnosed two years ago, despite having the condition for many years, but unfortunately due to a lack of understanding and information, it was not recognized.

Since then I have been working on navigating my way through my condition, unlearning a lot of the expectations I had put on myself, and working to thrive in my life and career despite my symptoms.

I have been a Wellness Coach for six years and when I was made redundant in December I saw it as an opportunity to combine my skills and experience with my passion for supporting women. I’m a coach specializing in PMDD and healthy lifestyle – though I joke that I should rename myself “the self-compassion coach” because I believe that self-compassion is the route to us being able to achieve all of our goals.

Now, I predominantly work with women who have a tendency to let themselves fall to the back of the queue. As well as self-compassion, I believe that we should have hope, always – and I’m spreading this message through my coaching, podcast (My Hormones My Health), and now, tee shirts!
