Zest Bootcamp

Zest Bootcamp helps busy men and women to improve their fitness, health and happiness through 45 minute outdoor group exercise classes in Alexandra Park, Bath every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at either 6.30am, 9.30am or 6.15pm. Zita, who was previously overweight and unfit before she changed careers, has been a personal trainer for 17 years set up Zest Bootcamp in 2009 as a non-military, supportive way of encouraging more women to exercise regularly and members receive nutritional support and high quality coaching during the workouts that include fitness boxing and equipment amongst bodyweight, cardio and core workouts. Trial weeks are available. Zita also offers 1-1 Personal Training in Bath and Somerset for anyone with more specific needs and also the new 8 week Total Body Shape up Plan that allows anyone, anywhere to follow a nutrition and lifestyle programme that gets results – available at www.zita.co.uk.

  • I’ve known Zita almost from the beginning of Zest Bootcamp and can honestly say I love it. Zita manages to inspire you to get out and get fit at any time of the day in all weathers. You might think that going out when it’s raining or even snowing – yup, even been out in a blizzard – but it’s worth it. Recently I’ve had some real trouble with my back and Zita has been there from the beginning to talk through my options. I wanted to and needed to keep fit and strong and Zita and Zest Bootcamp have been able to work around what I can and can’t do. It’s meant a lot to be able to continue. And on top of it all, there is nothing better than being outside in such a great location as Alexandra Park in Bath – wow, what a view!

  • I’ve never been a fan of the gym so when I heard about Zest Bootcamp in Bath, I thought I’d give it a go. It’s so much more fun being with a group of like-minded people and I love the fact I just turn up and the trainer tells you what to do. I’d never done boxing before but I love it and I feel so much better for getting my body moving 3 times a week. The standard of coaching is really high and despite the word bootcamp it is not military at all which was a relief and the other campers are really friendly. If you want to get results and get outdoors in the beautiful park then I highly recommend doing a taster week at Zest bootcamp. Personally I know I wouldn’t feel as good as I do if I hadn’t signed up and if you are worried that you won’t be fit enough to join then Zita pushes you only as much as you can do.

  • Zita is an inspiration to all her clients and associates. Anyone who manages to get people exercising at the crack of dawn and actually enjoying it is an amazing person in my book. She has enormous energy & enthusiasm, and practices what she preaches too. A fantastic person who thoroughly deserves awards aplenty.

    I joined Zest bootcamp earlier in the summer and I had previously done bootcamp a few years back. Remembering how much I enjoyed exercising outside it appealed to me again. All types of excerises to help improve my fitness, core & strength. Thoroughly enjoyed boxing and even those hill sprints testing my fitness levels to the max. Enjoyed working out in a group and not only being motivated by Zita and Alex, another instructor but by others in the group.

  • Motivating, inspiring, energising, challenging (in a good way!), fun! Been a Platinum member for a year now and love the varied workouts 3 times a week in the great outdoors. Not just zest but zing! Feel fitter than I have done for years. Great bunch of fellow bootcampers, great training/coaching from Zita and Alex. Social media, videos, e-bulletins, nutritional tips keep us all informed and inspired. Highly recommended!

  • Zita runs her business with extreme passion and dedication. She ensures all boot camp members feel welcome and included within the group. The sessions are confidently lead and her enthusiasm is channelled into an ever evolving exercise programme, which is of great benefit to the participants.   • I’ve been going to Bootcamp for about 6 months now and I don’t think I would have stuck with it if it weren’t for Zita. She is both a great trainer and great motivator, even at 6:30am. I have more energy and feel more able than I have in a few years. Zita’s passion is evident in everything she does and it makes you want to show up and work hard. I also really appreciate her practical approach to fitness, it’s about being fit and healthy for life, not just a bikini.

  • I have been dong boot camp for 3 years now and love it! As a very busy business woman I need a flexible way to train and get fit. Zest does this in bucket loads. Every session is different and fun, working the whole body and leaving me feeling totally energized. I so miss it when I don’t go. I highly recommend Zest Boot camp to anyone wanting to get fit and have something that challenges you and prefer the outdoors it is so wonderful to see the seasons change and be outside rather than in a gym.   • After coming through chemo and radiotherapy I was looking for a way to get back into regular and frequent exercise. I’ve never been any good at working alone under my own steam so I thought I’d give Zest Bootcamp a go. I joined in June and have rarely missed a session since. Because of Zitas enthusiasium and encouragement, you can’t help but want to do your best. The other class me,bears are also brilliant at pushing you on. And best of all,even at 6.30 in the morning, we always manage to have a giggle.

  • I started Bootcamp about 6 months ago, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the best things I’ve ever done! Zita is a fantastic trainer! It’s great to have someone who can keep a whole class motivated (even at 6.30am!), and create sessions that are both challenging and lots of fun! She makes everyone feel welcome and gives fantastic nutritional and workout advice in her newsletters and online. If you want to feel healthy, get fit and get outdoors, then Zest Bootcamp is the place to be.

  • This is my second month at Zest Bootcamp and I absolutely love it – even though it starts at 6.30 am and at the moment that means starting in the dark. Every session is different but we are guided through each move, by the very enthusiastic and encouraging, Zita. I like the emphasis she places on being healthy and strong, not only being a great trainer but also encouraging us to eat what will achieve this. I am nearly 55 years old but can honestly say that I am fitter now than I have ever been.

  • I’ve been coming to Zest Bootcamp for two and a half years, and I love it! It’s so different to joining a gym – the atmosphere is really friendly and everyone is supportive rather than competitive. The sessions are always different so the exercises work on all the muscles giving a complete workout over the course of the sessions. The classes are for all ages and abilities. Zita is such an excellent motivator, she manages to get the most out of us even at 6.30am and I know I would never have achieved half of what I can do now if it wasn’t for her support, care and commitment to the success of her clients. She is professional and knowledgeable and her on-line nutrition and “homework” videos etc. are really useful. I like Zita’s emphasis on being “fit for life” rather than just aiming to have a “bikini body” – although it’s a very welcome side effect!

  • Zita has so much energy and enthusiasm that even at 6.30 am on a cold, dark morning she can motivate you to get moving. She also has an endless supply of new ideas so the sessions never become repetitious plus she always makes sure you are using the correct techniques. Zest bootcamp is definitely the most enjoyable, friendly and effective group exercise I’ve experienced.
