Your Speaker - Shwezin Win

With over 20 years of experience in the Marketing, Retail, Strategy, Engagement, Consumer and Employee Experience, Shwezin has worked in Senior roles within both the B2B and B2C sectors. Working in small, medium and global businesses, Shwezin championed putting the customer at the heart of the business, creating a customer and employee-centric culture. Her passion for diversity and inclusion led her to become Chair of the Working Parents Network within EDF Energy, a role that changed the focus of her life.

After years of working within corporate organisations, Shwezin decided to follow her passion to inspire working parents to “win at life” by helping them to create their ideal successful life, improving mental and physical wellbeing. Her aim is to empower people to be the inspirational role models for future generations, where work-life balance is not an option, but an essential.

Having held senior roles, leading teams of employees, Shwezin has experienced first hand the challenges, the sense of overwhelm, the impact on individuals and the implications on the business’s bottom line. This knowledge and expertise makes her the ideal candidate to raise the subject of creating more balanced lives.

She continuously champions diversity and inclusion, supporting working women, with the view that you can not have gender equality in business, without gender equality in society. Encouraging us to raise future generations who will embrace bold women and men without prejudice and judgement.

Shwezin was born in Burma (now Myanmar), is a stepmum to two children, now at University and mum to two girls Saffron (12) and Jasmine (8). She loves spending quality time with the children, relaxing at the spa, going to the gym and singing in the local choir. She lives with her husband and children in Mid Sussex. She set up Win at life to help as many people as possible to live their best lives.
