Author Hub

If you have written a book then I am pretty sure you want to change the lives of many and The Authors Hub at Maximise is the perfect opportunity. The Hub is a room upstairs at the Maximise conference where you will be able to confidentially and easily speak with interested participants. Your books will also be promoted downstairs as part of the Maximise welcome table and so you benefit from two promotional opportunities on the day.

Plus at Lunch time 12 noon all the Authors will be interviewed giving you the opportunity to tell your story as an author, why you wrote the book and who the book is for. It is our intention that the authors will support each other and use social media to raise awareness and promote each other during this talk and throughout the day.

You will also have opportunity for 2 hours to man the table downstairs to be amongst the hub of the activities in the main hall. There are add incentives of free coffee upstairs that encourage the conference attendees to wonder upstairs.

This event is an event that brings together a thriving community of women in business who support each other on line and face to face all year. It also serves as a great opportunity for locals to purchase Christmas gifts and they have aspirations to gain 400 attendees this year.

Angela De Souza
I am a mother of four amazing children, three cats, one grandchild and married to a very handsome Brazilian man! In my spare time, I am an author, speaker, trainer and business mentor. My favourite thing to do is play my piano and sing (loudly and out of tune I’m afraid) as well as go for long walks or short runs!

I Did it in My Pyjamas
Angela says there are few rules when it comes to setting up and growing a successful business, and even some of those can be broken if they stifle your creativity or approach to working. In this book, she shares her journey of how she built the Women’s Business Club from nothing to the huge national success it is today, nuts, bolts and all. Angela has written a book that is quite unlike other books about starting and growing a business – though packed with tips and advice it is not so much of a ‘how to do it’ book but rather a ‘how I did it’. In a style that is both accessible and refreshing, she covers topics such as facing opposition, raising children, tackling fear and managing depression while building a business. The book is candid, honest and packed with tips on how she did it in her pyjamas!

 


Sheryl Andrews
I am mother of a blended family of 5 with 3 grandchildren due this year and married to my soulmate, which sounds idyllic and it is. But it was not all a bed of roses to get here. A difficult first marriage, that left me a shell of the woman I knew I had the potential to be, weight problem and failing coaching business meant that I became consumed with self-doubt and overwhelm. Karen Williams
An avid reader and cinema goer, it’s not surprising that I love books and stories. In business, I am the Book Mentor at Librotas. I support coaches, consultants, therapists and experts to write, publish and market a non-fiction book or memoir that helps them to build their business, raise their credibility and attract more clients. Personally, I love a bit of adventure, enjoy travelling, and have been known to jump out of a plane and walk on hot coals!
